The world premiere of Pie Lady of Pie Town took place at Dances with Films festival in Hollywood in June, 2014.
 

It screened for an enthusiastic audience at the legendary Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard and subsequently won “Best of Run Audience Choice Award.” 
 

The film became Academy Award® qualified through the festival’s relationship with Laemmle Theatres in Los Angeles.
